Diamond in the rough

So...we went back to claim our stuff at Lake Crescent and the lake was so still and gorgeous we decided to go for a paddle.

Just like a puzzle, this is the reflection.

We couldn't believe there wasn't a million water skiers, the water was pristine and warm.

Just getting ready for take off, we have come a long way blogging, but picture order is a challenge.

No one...unbelievable, we paddled about 4 miles...well drifted, no struggle here.  The trip was about 4 hours, with a beach stop..oh where is my rope swing picture...just a minute.

Our beach stop and rope swing, a common site on this lake.....look how still this water is, and clear. 600 ft deep.

My beach house.  Honey I "need" this :).  (No emojis with this app, got to get that figured out).   Hopefully McDonald's wi-fi is good and our blog posts are able to be sent.  Then it is to Port Townsend to take the ferry to Whidby Island to stay overnight with Harvest Hosts local berry winery.  Thanks for traveling with us and your prayers.  We love you all, be back in no time.
